Using Sonar means agreeing to these terms. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.
Sonar is for adults. Some conversations here are explicit. When you finish setup you confirm that you are 18 or older, and we record that confirmation with a timestamp.
If you are under 18, you may not use this service. If we find that an account belongs to a minor, we close it.
Sonar is not available in the United Kingdom or Italy. Both require certified age verification, which we do not offer, so accounts declaring those countries are refused at setup.
Media between consenting adults is allowed. Sharing it further is not.
Receiving a photo or a video gives you no right to save it, repost it, or show it to anyone else. Doing so is a breach of these terms and, in many countries, a criminal offence.
Every image and video is checked against known illegal-content databases before it is delivered. This check is automatic and applies to everyone.
You can report anyone you are talking to, from inside the conversation. A report preserves the recent messages of that conversation so a human can review it.
Report anything involving a minor immediately. Those reports are acted on first and do not wait in a queue.
Depending on what happened and what came before it, we may warn an account, restrict its ability to send media, suspend it for a period, or ban it permanently. Bans for content involving a minor are permanent and are referred to the authorities.
Sonar Pro is bought with Telegram Stars, through Telegram. Prices are shown before you pay.
Refunds are handled under Telegram's Stars refund policy. A subscription can be cancelled at any time and continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
A banned account is not refunded for time it can no longer use.
Sonar is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption, that you will be matched with anyone, or that any particular feature will keep working.
If these terms change in a way that matters, the change is announced in the bot before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sonar after that means accepting the new terms.
